EFFECT OF UPN AND PRIMARY SMTP CHANGE IN DISTRIBUTION GROUP MEMBERSHIP

SCENARIO: a user mailbox was created and added in Distribution group with USER UPN and PRIMARY mail address as user@contoso.onmicrosoft.com.

QUESTION: if we change the UPN and Primary SMTP address to user@contoso.com, will the Distribution group Membership remain and will not be affected?
