Cursor keeps disappearing in Word

This happens with great regularity. I'll be working in a docx and the cursor will vanish. The only way to get it back is to scroll to another page, give it time to think, then I can go back to where I was and the cursor will again be visible. Highly annoying and a time waster.

@Mike_StilesBCS I have precisely the same problem, and it is really annoying. Typing a single character seems to bring back the cursor.
