Changing from one font to another en masse in Word

Occasional Visitor

Hello,

I need to convert the text in a bunch of files (>100) from Montserrat semi-bold to Montserrat medium. But it's only the main paragraphs that need to be converted, since there is text outside of them that needs to stay the font it is. So is there a way I can create something that will automatically convert all text in Montserrat semi-bold to Montserrat medium?

Solution

@yesthatvincent Hi! Yes, you can do this using the Find and Replace feature. Here's a great step-by-step guide:
https://www.customguide.com/word/word-find-and-replace-formatting

Hello,@yesthatvincent, to fix your issue hit the Replace button on the Home tab in the Word app. Hit More to expand the menu, and hit the Format button.

You will see the list of different formatting varieties. Now search by font and choose the right font for replacement.
