Cannot sing in on newly registered microsoft account on desktop apps

Hi;

I recently opened a new microsoft account and purcased a seat for a business. Although I can sign in on the newly registered account on any web pages on microsoft I simply cannot sign in on desktop apps. When I try it simply says that there is no account under said e-mail adress. Since I can sign in on the websites and see the purcahed products under my profile I dont understand how it doesnt recognize the e-mail on the desktop apps.

 

I tried to reinstall the office by the link that it gives on my account on the website but it didnt work either. This is the first microsoft 365 business purchase our company had previously we were using office 2010.

 

I dont know if this is a common issue and it has a simple solution but I simply cannot overcome it.
