I am a longtime MS Office user, but new to the (forced) subscription Office 365 product. When I open a new MS Word document, the default is a black page with light grey text. I have no idea why on Earth that would be the default, but it is. It took me a Google search to figure out how to change the page to white, which I did successfully. However, I cannot change the font color using any of the usual methods: Font color drop-down on Home menu, right-clicking to access Font, starting with new text, highlighting existing text. It will only present as light grey text.
How do I resolve this? Thanks.
