Calling from Sharepoint Contacts list in Teams

Hi All.

I have set up a contacts list for all external contacts as a web part on a Sharepoint page and added it to a team, While I can click each contact and it opens in a browser I would ideally like to be able to simply click the Tel: number to call it within teams... This is a popular request... Surely it is not difficult for developers to make the Telephone number fields link to the TEL: protocol....

Only way you can do that is using something like a quick links webpart and linking to a url shortening service. i wrote a blog about it sometime back, until SharePoint supports other protocols in their URL's it's the only work around.
