A user opened a ticket with IT (me) because an appointment in a room mailbox calendar is a different color when viewing the calendar in OWA than when he views the calendar in the Outlook App on his phone. He wants us to fix this. This calendar has numerous categories and colors set up to associate appointments with employees (each employee has a color). The item in question should show up as his color but on his phone it shows up as another color. Obviously I can't fix that but I'm wondering what could cause this and is there anything that can be done to correct it?
I just realized the user is using Outlook in a web browser not the Outlook App on his phone. But he is seeing different colors for one of the appointments than everyone else is seeing. The only thing I can think to try is to clear the browser cache. Any other ideas?
