I have a document on SharePoint that we collaborate on using MS Word online.
I got black boxes around all of the section numbers at one point, and found a solution that changes the section number format so they are visible again:
1) Place cursor to the right of any blacked out section number
2) Left-Arrow (Number field turns gray)
3) Ctrl-Shift-S (Small dialog pops up)
4) Click "Reapply" (Section numbers visible again)
The strange thing is that now it looks right in Word online if you are editing the document, but if you change to reading view the sections all turn black again.
Same document downloaded and opened in Word 2016 displays section numbers fine in reading view or editing
Is there a way to save the doc so Word online will display sections correctly?
