Azure AD P2 licensing details

Hi ,

  I would like to know if I can purchase Azure AD P2 only for selected number of users in my tenant . We want to take advantage of the P2 features for ceratin IT admin activities in our tenant and hence we would like to know whether P2 can be purchased only for selected users in the tenant ? 

We already have P1 available for all the users in the tenant as a part of EMS E3 and would like to know if I have to purchase P2 for everyone or can I purchase it only for selected users ?

It should be possible in the same way you have the possibility to purchase and assign certain Office 365 only to a subset of your users in Office 365

Agree with Juan, you can just purchase the number of P2 licenses you need for those users and assign the P2 plan to those select users.  They’re the only ones that you’ll have the additional P2 features for.
