Any inherent different between Microsoft Business and Enterprise licensing (less than 30 users)?

Iron Contributor

For a business of less than 30 users, is there any reason why I would want to purchase Enterprise (E1, E3, E5) licenses for my users, versus purchasing them Microsoft Business Basic, Standard or Premium licenses?

I, personally, would compare the licenses and determine if you’d use the features that the higher ones offer OR get one of the E3 or E5 and use it yourself and determine if the rest of your users would get value out of enhanced features that you do.

It's usually compliance requirements, such as holds, DLP, protection labels, etc. The rest of the feature set is pretty much the same.

@Vasil Michev, thank you!
