Hi Everyone,

I have never used Microsoft Office 365 online. I have free access as a student. Will I lose any functionality vs having the program installed on my laptop? Is Math Type available on Office 365 online? I need Math Type for a class I start at the end of the month. Any additional advice or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

The web versions are not a full featured replacement for the desktop apps, probably never will be. Microsoft publishes detailed comparisons online, here's for example the Word one: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/differences-between-using-a-document-in-the-browser-and-i...

It will of course depend on which features you need, and for most "lightweight" scenarios you'll probably be fine. For questions on specific add-ins, best check with the vendor producing the add-in directly.
Thank you Vasil I will check out your link.
