Adding users to O365 Groups with AD/AAD Groups

Hi.

I am wondering why there is no possibility to use AD or AAD Groups with O365 Groups when adding members? This is possible in Teams, though users are taken from the group and added as users not as group. But even this is easier than adding user per user eg. in AAD to O365 Group or in Planner as users. Any idea why this is so as couldn't find any reasoning from documentation or change to this in roadmap

Hi, its on the roadmap but its not due until next year, hopefully we get it before then, as you say it would be very useful to have.
