Live Encoder

Dell Latitude 5590 Laptop, what is a recommended Encoder to use for Live Stream event from my laptop?  What about an iPad Pro?

I use ManyCam from an iPad or iPhone. But there are others available. Whatever laptop you use, make sure it has an independent graphics card. This ensures the encoder doesn't have to work so hard.

For your laptop, Wirecast S works directly with Stream or OBS are good options. For your iPad, Switcher Studio works great

@Darrell Webster What encoder do you use? I am looking at Wirecast S. Also, what camera are you utilizing for your events? We typically hire production companies and I am looking to replace that with Live Events.

I use OBS. Once you understand a few key principles, you can create rich and varied scenes from different sources of media.
