Price increase D365 Sandboxes - did I miss something?

Dear all

last week, we received this mail regarding a tier 5 Sandbox and its pricing:

I know about the upcoming price update as from October 1 but a) it is not October yet and b) this SKU was not announced to be increased at all.

Is this a mistake in Microsoft's billing system? (almost impossible - ok, sarcasm off now)

This is also not listed in the Preview pricelist. Really interested in what/why this price change is.

Was this an 3-year contract, and will it renew now end of September? Maybe it's the old price change from 2 years ago, were the customer had price protection for 3-years and now gets the price change from last time.

Also, is this purchased thru credit card? As the customer received an email with prices, I assume this is not CSP license.

Eager to know more about the price impact here as well!

@MartijnElfers no, it is a relatively new monthly subscriptions - really strange.

I just realised, that the "new" price is the EUR price (we do normally have everything in Swiss Francs). So I am assuming there is an error in the mail
