I can't find the Emulation Mode in the Holographic Remoting for Play Mode

Copper Contributor

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to apply Holographic Remoting in order to be able to see my game object on Hololens 2 and real-time manipulate it through Unity Play Mode (by changing its Transform position and orientation).

I set all the needed configuration mentioned in this documentation: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/mixed-reality/blob/docs/mrtk-unity/mrtk2/features/tools/holographic...

and when I got to "Connecting to the Hololens with Wi-Fi" part, at step 4, I couldn't find the Emulation Mode to set it to "Remote to Device" in the Holographic Remoting for Play Mode tab like the screenshot shows.

But I entered the IP adress displayed on the Holographic Remoting Player app anyways, and when I clicked on the play mode, nothing happened, nothing gets displayed on the glasses and I get on Unity console "Failed to enable remoting runtime" message.

I even tried with USB cable but nothing works.

Thank you in advance for helping me out to solve this issue.

PS: I'm using Unity 2020.3.31f1 along with UWP 10.10240.0 and Visual Studio 2022.

I've got the latest version of OpenXR Plugin 1.4.2, Windows XR Plugin 4.6.3 and XR Plugin Management 4.2.0.

I also have Unity 2019.3.31f1 but I have the same issue.
