Is this available in GCC?  If not, when?
Thank you!

My experience after adding Viva Connections, if you are in Public Preview for MS Teams, viva connections does not appear.  When you turn off Public Preview, then it will be in your app bar.   Anyone else see this experience?  Is this expected @Brad McCabe ?

@Patrick Drews

I had the same experience as yourself re MS Teams and Public Preview.

Iron Contributor

@Patrick Drews we are not in public preview of Teams and it does not appear for me.

Iron Contributor

@Patrick Drews, I'm also experiencing the same problem as you. If Public Preview is enabled Viva Connections, and Bookings app, will not show up in the desktop client. I made an service request to Microsoft regarding this but got a really disappointing answer. This is the answer I got:

"Since Public Preview feature and Public Preview mode are just provided for test purpose, there is no official support for this. We can redirect user to free Forum support for any inquiries about Public Preview."

So, seems like Microsoft have no interest in solving the issue. Shame on you Microsoft!

Thanks for these great news and for the attention you are putting to improve the employee experience for a hybrid digital workplace.

A question related to ACE cards and custom development on Viva services: Are you planning to develop / create a sort of self service model to manage active cards extension in order to create a sort of "portal" where it is the employee who can choose which cards to add personalizing the content to improve user experience?

What is the official version of the newly released Viva Connection app ?
Not Working Mobile experience
In one of my tenant I see version (1.0.3) where app is not showing up in mobile experience.

Can anyone guide which is the latest app ?

Brass Contributor

@PrerakDesai we currently have version is v 1.0.1 on our tenant and it shows up in mobile version (Android, don't know about iOS). It was visible on the "..." (more) button, then you can reorganize the default icons and pin it to first position

Copper Contributor

ok.. So that is the same behavior I experience on one of my tenant with version 1.0.1
So app with version 1.0.3 is not working. Is there anything we have to do for it to get corrected

Hey guys! We have been using Viva Connections since day one in my org. The past 48 hours we have been having issues with the Feed for Viva Connections (Preview) Web Part on our SharePoint homesite. It keeps throwing the error below to all users. We've tried different things like removing and readding the webpart to resetting the site as the homesite but still nothing. No issues on the mobile app the, everything loads fine there. Anyone else experiencing this?

@Aaron Samuel same for me on our tenant, the feed is not working today when displayed on a web page, although it was working fine yesterday.

Brass Contributor

@Aaron Samuel the feed for viva connections web part is working today

Copper Contributor

on mobile (Android phone), when you open a resource (either from the Dashboard, Feed, or Resources-section) it's working fine; the article/page opens perfectly but any other resource item you open afterwards doesn't load. I end up with an empty page, with only the back-button and the site title.

Hi Team,
I have setup the VIVA dashboard in my dev tenant and built custom cards which I am able to add successfully.

But I don't see the card designer when I edit the dashboard. the same is available in my colleague's dev tenant. The difference in our setup is that, on my tenant, I created it once it came to public preview and they created it using power shell.

I also see the card designer being used in many community call demos. Is there any specific configuration required to enable the card designer?

Note: The same behavior has been observed in few other tenants which configured the VIVA dashboard after public preview.

Copper Contributor

I am also trying to set up a dashboard but do not have the card designer available either. It was previously available in preview versions.

We are using the Viva connections feed web part on SharePoint. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to change the title and it now says "Feed for Viva Connections". The title is very confusing for our employees because they have absolutely no clue what Viva connections is. Is this a bug?

Brass Contributor

@Astrid same for me. I can edit the Web Part title but the change is not saved. This looks like a bug
