Login problems

Is anyone else running into issues logging in to Microsoft To Do web on Chrome?

For the last few days it's been hit or miss whether I can log in.  Most of the time it hangs at https://to-do.live.com/tasks/?ru=https%3A%2F%2Fto-do.microsoft.com%2Ftasks%2F&app&auth_upn=email.com.... No error messages or anything.  The status bar shows "processing request" indefinitely.

I tried to get on live chat with Microsoft but after wasting almost an hour (getting bumped between departments, receiving ridiculous suggestions like "just use OneDrive instead") I gave up.

Anyone?  I still can't log in today.

Same here. Haven't been able to login using Chrome 81 for days now (using the Android app still works luckily).

After (trying to) log in I see an empty screen loading forever from the url https://to-do.live.com/tasks/. Maybe this callback url in the live.com domain is wrong.

@marcogla That's exactly the behavior I'm seeing.  I'm only been able to access To Do through my iPhone for now.

Do you know if support checks these forums?

@frostycan I would certainly hope Microsoft To-Do Support checks these forums.

This seems like a relevant piece of logging in Chrome Developer Tools btw:

A cookie associated with a resource at http://live.com/ was set with `SameSite=None` but without `Secure`. A future release of Chrome will only deliver cookies marked `SameSite=None` if they are also marked `Secure`. You can review cookies in developer tools under Application>Storage>Cookies and see more details at https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5633521622188032.

Maybe one or more cookies are not set correctly/secure which causes Chrome to refuse to load certain site assets.

@marcogla It does seem to be an issued specific to Chrome.  I can log in with Edge and Firefox, but I still can't log in with Chrome.

Hello Microsoft?

@frostycan Same problem here too, although I recall it occurs with IE and Edge too on my PC (haven't teasted recently and I mainly use chromebooks).  Every once in a while it will work if I stop and reload in the middle of loading and it may or may not require me to login.  Chromebook has the app too and that works fine.  It would be nice and convenient if it worked from a browser too.

@mpssweeney A few days ago while I robotically kept trying to log in on Chrome, it did eventually log in once, but when I tried again a moment later it went back to hanging.

I sure wish To Do was as reliable as Wunderlist was over the years.
