One of our consultants ran a remote brainstorming session using the new Whiteboard and Teams. She offered the following improvement suggestions:
- Stable with multiple users - we resorted to having one person scribe on the Whiteboard
- Drawing toolbox with straight lines, boxes, circles etc.
- Ability to have some font other than the “handwriting” one which would be good for section headings etc
- The grab multiple items “lasso select” is bizarrely hidden away within the pen function which is a couple of clicks to access.
- The snap to size & location has logical rules which make it near impossible to do exactly that – e.g. with post-its. It only lets you location snap and size snap the bottom of each item which is not enough degrees of freedom to fix both size and position without iterating. What you want to do is locate one side of the item in line with its friends (e.g. bottom side) and resize the other side (e.g. top side) to fix the size.
- Ability to change post it size & font size separately. It does not show the whole text on the post it. If you increase the post it size ti fut the text on the font just scales so that doesn’t work.
