Where do I make changes to the Teams Organization chart?

Brass Contributor

Hi,

In Teams, when I click on Chat and then a contact (e.g. co-worker), there is an Organization link. When clicked, it shows who the contact's manager and sub-ordinates are. I need to update this chart to reflect our current organization hierarchy. But I can't find where to update this.

I was wondering where do I update this chart? I currently am a Teams administrator.

Sincerely,

Jason

Hi,

if you are syncing such infos from AD to AAD, you can change 'manager' field from attributes of someone's AD account
if you are using AAD directly, you can go to change 'manager' info from AAD

when sync is done, Teams will show the new reporting line, aka org. chart
