When will Tasks by Planner and To Do be renamed to Tasks

For quite some time ago Microsoft informed that the Tasks by Planner and To Do app will be renamed to simply Tasks. So far, the app has not been renamed but do we know when this will happen? Or will it ever?

Fair question. I think it will happen though, but not until the underlying work building the deeper integration between To Do and Planner tasks is completed.
