Were do the files in the chat get stored?

Our use the "Chats" feature in Teams (so not a Team) and then upload but were are these files stored?

Are they on Onedrive? If so who's onedrive is multiple people are in the chat and different people are sharing different files?

Thanks, so if i read that correctlt files in Chat are stored in Onedrive under a folder called "Microsoft Teams chat files"

So if user A uploads a file in to chat called "File A"

and then user B uploads a file into chat called "File B"

Do both these files appear in bothe User A and User B folder called "Microsoft Teams chat files"

no, the person that shares the file are the owner of the file and the only one that will have the file in it's OneDrive
