Website in a MS Teams tab - web browser issues

Copper Contributor

Dears,

I have created a tab in a Teams' team, in the General channel. More precisely, I added a website in that tab, to allow member to quickly access that website without moving from the Teams environment to the web browser environment. The website is actually the Document Management System of my company (OpenText). Now, when I click on a document and try to open it (e.g. a PDF) the message I get is "You do not have OpenText Office Editor extension installed or it is not enabled. Please contact your administrator for more information on how to install this extension. Alternatively, you can edit the document using another browser." So it appears that the default browser in MS Teams is Edge (makes sense), but my company says we don't have this extension for Edge. So, it looks like the only solution would be to tell MS Teams to use another web browser instead of Edge when opening a website in a tab...
Is this possible?
THANKS!!!!
