Hello
My study group and I have been using Teams for some weeks now. We use it to store our files and edit them together. Yesterday, all of a sudden, neither of us were able to edit our files even though they've been made in Teams. How can we edit them again? The whole reason for using teams was to have our files in one place and to be able to edit them together at the same time..

@michellejk are you the owner or user of the tenant? And are you only using Teams to edit the documents? Or are you also using sharepoint to access these documents?
Maybe you can view the files online (in sharepoint) and see if you can open and edit them there?
First thought, maybe the document is checked out in sharepoint?

I am not the owner, but user. But the owner cannot edit the files either. We are not using sharepoint, but just Teams on our laptops. We use teams mainly to edit and share files. None of the files are marked as checked out..

@michellejk Its a temporary adjustment to handle the load. You need to use some of the other editing options.
