Hi Community,

 

since yesterday, some Users having trouble to message some specific users - but others don't have the problem. We're facing it on Windows Client, WEB Client and iOS Client.

 

Some ideas what could cause this issue?

Did you ever get any resolution for this? It is happening with one of the users in our company right now and we can't figure out how to fix it.

Same problem here this morning. It seems like we had an internet connectivity glitch of some kind, then Teams chat messages got out of sync. Connectivity has been fine for some time, but restarting the PC, restarting Teams, killing the Teams task and restarting it, etc... has no impact on the issue. It seems permanently stuck saying: "We're having trouble updating your messages" followed by a "Try Again" hyperlink. Clicking the link has no effect. This problem only shows up in the chat sessions of people who I attempted to communicate with during the period of connectivity issues. 

Bottom line, for some reason, Teams isn't bouncing back from a somewhat expected circumstance. I could use some guidance as to how to clear its cache or reset it.
