Video not playing inside desktop app anymore! However no problems on another computer!

When I have issues they usually resolve when signing out and in. Not now :)


The problem

I upload a vide ofile into a channel. After submitting the message I click on the video, but in won't play the file. This is what I see.





I have two possibilities :)


  1. Using another computer
  2. Opening the video in sharepoint



What can I do ?

Hello @thegoodguy  Since the community has not yet responded to your post, you might want to contact Microsoft Support directly or open a case at, where there are support agents available to help with further troubleshooting with you until your issue is resolved.

the solution was to simply kill everything in %appdata%
