I work on the engineering team for Microsoft Teams and I manage user feedback. Some of you may already know me if you're active on Twitter or on UserVoice.

 

With just a few days ahead of GA, I want to make sure you submit your user feedback for our product into the right channel where it will be heard and responded to by our engineering team. I often see feedback submitted into this channel (Microsoft Tech Community) which means its not getting collated/counted in our formal feedback system, UserVoice.

This site is managed and triaged on a daily basis directly by members of the engineering team. We process, analyze and prioritize feedback that comes in through this channel. We highly value our users and their voice helps drive the design and development of Teams.

UserVoice is the right place to submit your feedback. In fact, if you look on the right in the More Resources section of this page, "Product Feedback" will take you to the Microsoft Teams UserVoice site. I will say though, the discussion and stories are still valuable here. As we all work out how to best use Microsoft Teams, our conversation here is helping us find answers.

Completely agree with Darrell! MTC is a valuable place for community discussion and as a help forum -- just make sure to send product feature requests over to UserVoice.

It would be cool if you good set up a Flow to monitor the MTC for certain tags, i.e. #UserVoice and then automatically connect the 2 systems.

To take this a step futher, have items in UserVoice sent into this network for further discussion.

 

The 2 tools both have strenghts/weaknesses and UserVoice has a very specific purpose, but getting them integrated/connected would be beneficial.

Definitely looking forward to that Jeff. A major weakness of UserVoice in my eyes is no easy way to drop in screenshots or gifs to help explain your suggestion or feedback. MTC could help solve for that.

I guess you mean Win Desktop app. I found simular option for iOS app, but nothing for Win Mobile. Did i miss something or that's not implemented?

I have a question not so much feedback. I am testing out Teams now. However the rest of my organization is using Skype.  When i am using teams talking to skype, am i still supposed to be getting a banner notification? I am still learning how teams and skype are integrating.

Microsoft has really gone down hill and has absolutely no quality control at all!!!!

 

I just switched from Skype for Business to Teams for all calling functionality.  Now that I have switched to Teams I can no longer hear any calls ringing.

 

The problem is that the  developers and the quality control people at Microsoft completely missed the function that Skype for Business used to allow. And that is use a headset for all calls but also Ring the computer speakers for an incoming call.

 

Now,  whenever a call comes in there is absolutely no sound at all and just a window that pops up. If I am not wearing the headset and am away from teh computer, I cant hear any ringing and Miss all the calls that come in.

 

This is really stupid and makes teams completely unusable!!!!

There is however an issue in the introduction text; the links to the "TeamsBlog" and "M365Roadmap" are not actual links we can visit.

@Suphatra RufoI would love to have an MS Outlook pane to the right so that I can watch my inbox messages while I am in the MS team window.  Similarly, it would be good to have a quick access button to all of the office 365 programs
