It's hard to say, could have been ISP issues, could have been Teams service issue althou I didn't see any major outages reported that day.
What you can do is find the meeting host in admin center under users and on Meetings and calls tab for that user, you can see the meeting, Who connected and when, then break down each user details and get some more insights that might help pinpoint the issue.
