yesterday the TEAMS app on my Lumia 950 finally stopped working. OK, that was to be expected.
Interestingly I still get all notifications. Of course, when I try to open the app, I'm informed it is retired. Yesterday there was the Information that I should use the web app instead (no longer, now).
BUT when I open the web app (https://teams.microsoft.com), I'm greeted with "Opps. Your browser version is not supported. The Quickest Solution? Download the mobile App" - the icing on the cake is a link to the Microsoft Store page with the no longer available App.
Are you kidding me???
If Microsoft indeed decides to drop TEAMS for Windows Mobile (wich BTW is a blow to the face of loyal users), then at least allow us to open the web app!
I bought my Lumia 950 a little over 2 years ago. You simply can't drop customers like that!
Is there any (other?) way to still use TEAMS services on my phone?
Any help is highly appreciated!

I agree it's frustrating but this was a change from last year, announced last April in fact and there is not much that can be done about it except use Teams on a supported device. There will be no support for Windows Mobile by the end of the year, at all, so it's probably worth looking at an alternative by then at the latest.

Yep, but until yesterday they said we should use the web app instead - wich won't work now. Bummer!

It's really annoying. Whilst I have a newer device for my personal phone, my work phone is a Lumia 640 and it's perfectly fine for work. Does calls, texts, email and basic browsing. Skype for Business still just about works in the same way it always just about worked. Apps like OneDrive, Word, Excel work. Camera works along with Office Lens (and has great macro ability which is good for office use taking shots of things close up). All the standard things useful for business.
Teams - no app any more. Okay, it was clunky and slow anyway, web then... no.
Why? Just need simple web access to be able to see chats and respond. Don't need notifications as get them in emails. Not bothered about phone. Just something useable instead of having to replace an otherwise perfectly functional phone.
