One of my organization user has E3 subscription in which, in Teams he is not able to open any files shared in chat conversations. But all files in Team channels are able to open.
If he tries to open in Teams web, it says the item you are looking is no longer available.
If we copy the link from teams and open in browser, same message.
If we try to open from Teams app itself, it says sorry this item is either moved or deleted.
Even we cannot download the file locally.
For all Files under any Team channel, no issues in opening within Teams and in browsers.
Please guide us what would be issue.
One more update on this. this seems to be machine specific and not account specific.
If i login with that user credentials in another machine, it open the files.
If i open in that problematic machine, it says cant get secure connection, your TLS settings is out of date.
I tried resetting the browser settings to default,tried all browsers, uninstalled chrome / mozilla etc.,
Resetted TLS settings etc.,
Iam surprised how Teams channel attachments are opening without any issues but this issue happening only for Chat conversations.
Basically any user personally share it in chat he cannot open in that machine.
