As a company, we'd like to try out Teams as one of the migrate-to options from Slack. However, when trying the 'try 1 month free' options, I'm required to also take a 1 year subscription. This doesn't make much sense as it may turn out to not be a viable option for us.
Is there an option to try Teams (even pay for a month would be perfectly fine) without getting a subscription?

Hello @PREDEV1
welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Recep I'll be happy to help you today.
I understand that you want to try out teams without the 1-year subscription.
Please note that If you're signed in to an Office 365 work or school account, you won't be able to sign up for Teams free. However, you can use any corporate or consumer email address to sign up for Teams free. People who don’t already have a paid Office 365 commercial subscription will have access to the free version of Teams. If an existing Office 365 commercial customer tried to sign up for free, they will be routed into a managed experience for their existing tenant.
For your reference, see blog under FAQ: Who’s eligible for the free version of Microsoft Teams?

Hi @PREDEV1,
Microsoft Teams provides a range of plans tailored to different needs. Here are some options:
Microsoft Teams Essentials:
Microsoft 365 Business Basic:
Microsoft 365 Business Standard:
it’s important to note that you can use one-month free trial.
After your one-month free trial, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.
A credit card is required for the free trial, and you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.

Hi @Deleted,
To try this out I'm using the account that I also use to post these messages, hope you are able to see what account that is. It does not have any subscription on it of any kind.
The only option I see is what I described in my initial message; try 1 month but tied to 11 more months of required payment.
The FAQ you wrote is very detailed, thanks for your efforts. Do you mind sharing a link with me from where I could try to get a trial license for a month?
Thanks!
