Hi guys,

Due to Skype for Business being phased out for our company, I am attempting to reconfigure their current terminal server setup.

Unfortunately, I'm getting a bug where users HAVE to log into Teams EVERY time they log off the terminal server. Is there some Appdata setting that I can configure in the background to allow for logon persistence? Or is this just outside the scope of planning for Teams.

Thank you

Have you guys enabled MFA at all? Or has this never worked and your just now trying? I would check into making sure you guys have Modern Auth setup as Teams defaults to using this usually, think the Skype Modern auth effects Teams. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/36101.office-365-enable-modern-authentic...

We do not currently have MFA configured for this tenant.

If I do enable Modern auth, do you believe this will be a solution, or are you asking, because it is known to cause issues?

Pretty sure it's on by default with Teams, but take a look over this article. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/sign-in-teams

So this should work if the server is domain joined, which it most likley is. They only piece that I question is this part of the doc:

Switching accounts after completing modern authentication
If users are working on a domain-joined computer (for example, if their tenant has enabled Kerberos), they cannot switch user accounts once they've completed modern authentication. If users are not working on a domain-joined computer, they can switch accounts.

Not sure if that could be causing issues on a shared device or not.
