Teams voice cli

I have a customer using Teams PBX and Direct Routing. Tenant UK based. The customer has a couple of users based in different geographic regions, however they are licensed to UK tenant.  Their license is set to UK, policies set to UK, they have a UK based number assigned to them and using default ORG Caller ID.

When a user in the other region makes an outbound caller there outbound caller ID displays the UK number assigned to them, plus it adds their country code as well.

example, let’s say UK Number is 442080123456.  And let’s say the user is based in Russia.  The receiving parties display shows +7 442080123456.

I can’t seem to find anything in Teams Portal that will correct this, don’t think a new CLI policy would work.

Could this be Microsoft being clever and knowing the source of the callers IP Address, making a decision on where the call is originated?
