Teams Telephony on Citrix

A customer is keen to implement Teams Telephony but are using a Citrix infrastructure.  What are the key things that need to be addressed when using teams for UC via a citrix/virtual desktop infrastructure.  can anyone provide any links to docs that may provide any guidance.  I have not yet dealt with azure virtual desktop/citrix when implementing Teams so any help or experiences with this would be gratefully received.

Teams is supported on VDI like Citrix -

When you say Teams for UC, do you mean Teams as your Phone system / PSTN?

You have various PSTN connectivity options for teams

And all of them should work and are not at all impacted by the different ways your users may connect to teams. (ex. Citrix, mobile app, desktop)
