Teams SharePoint Site

I discovered you can create a subsite on a Teams sharepoint site and give access permissions to everybody including people who are not members of the team.   I have 2 questions about this.

1.  Does this violate any teams protocol or licensing

2.  Will it cause issues with large numbers of people accessing it?

As long as you’re licensing users using the service or keep within the agreements for guest accounts, you should be fine with Microsoft! If you violate your orgs terms I can’t tell :)
