Brass Contributor

Does anyone know if it is possible to allow users to set up there own teams but these will not be active until a moderator has approved?

Many thanks

Hi,

Yes, you can setup a flow in Power Automate. In the flow you can setup an approval that have to be approved by one or many people.

Look at this article how to create a Team from a Microsoft Flow.

Here is some information how to do approvals form flows in Teams.

So there is nothing built-in to Teams to do this, but you can use Power Automate together with Azure Automation and PowerShell.

No you can’t let user use the Out of the box Teams creation option and add an approval prior the creation. You will have to build your own teams creation à forms and process/power automate to achieve this like Linus said.

@Linus Cansby  Soory for the lack of response!!!

Many thanks will look at setting this up. Seems to me that this is a necessary addition!!

Regards

thanks!
