Teams public channel

Copper Contributor
Can the files within a public channel be set to view only? The channel will be a repository of documents for users to view only. And we would like to make it a public channel.

Hey @Matcole ,

This can be easily achieved but you will have to use Sharepoint online to change the permissions; every Team has a corresponding sharepoint site associated with it and each channel is represented as a folder in the sharepoint site. Just set the permissions on the folder corresponding to the channel to read only for members/other users. Here are a few links that should help:

Thanks
