Teams Profile Picture Shows BETA

Copper Contributor

Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe !

Does anyone recollect what does BETA on TEAMS profile picture means? IT means part of TAP (Ring 1.5) program and I was assuming BETA is probably Public Preview (Ring 3).. Seems that's not the case as none of the PP users have that on their Profile Picture.

Hi there - You can learn more about the difference between TAP, BETA, and Preview, here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/launch-of-microsoft-teams-preview-experi... - For those of you familiar with rings, BETA is R1.5. Your users participating are likely in R3 so may not see that in their profile picture.
