Teams only allowing 1 audio source

Currently experiencing a new issue that was not prevelent before last week. We are training a new team member. The team member and their mentor are virtual and using teams. This is what is happening. 

 

Learner shares her screen with mentor
Learner shares her audio with mentor
Learner takes a call from external line
Learner answers the call
Teams puts mentor on Mute
The only way learner can talk with mentor is to put the customer on hold (external line) and then is able to unmute mentor. 
 
This was not an issue a week ago.

Sounds right to me, what do you think was different last week?

@Steven Collier - Thanks for the reply. Last week the mentor could listen into the learner. We are troubleshooting it just wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone else experienced any recent changes.
