Teams Missing Channels and Files

Teams isn't showing any channels or files on the left column it only has chat, activity and calendar.

I am also unable to link outlook with teams, the teams icon appears asking if i want to create a new teams meeting on outlook but it just comes up with an error.

Hello, it sounds to me as if you're using Teams for personal use. Try using the org. switcher from the top right corner to sign in to your work org. account or Teams free org. if that's what you're using.

You cannot use the Teams Outlook add-in with Teams free / personal Teams.
