No worries. I get what you mean it is a bit vague. I have raised this with the product team and will get back to you as soon as I hear from them with an authoritative response.

None currently. It's a bit of a mad time given MVP Summit and the growth in usage of Teams causing some scalability related issues. It may take some time for them to get back to me.

Teams chat is not encrypted at rest by default. It is encrypted in transit (TLS)

To have encrypted chat you need Customer Key

Even when using Teams Premium's end-to-end encryption the chat in the meeting is not encrypted
