Teams Meetings in Desktop App instead of Browser

Copper Contributor

Does anyone know if Microsoft are planning to make the meeting options menu available from the Desktop app? At the moment a user has to open a meeting from the calendar in the desktop app, click meeting options, wait for the web app to launch, go into the calendar on the web app and then click meeting options to finally customize participants, lobby settings etc...

Unless anyone thinks i'm missing something does anyone know how we can find out if and when Microsoft intend to make this a feature of the desktop app?

They should now be in the desktop client. This is a screenshot taken from a Generally Available Demo Tenant. Select More Options (...) Then Meeting Options

Note you need to have the new meetings experience so if you haven't enable that by clicking on your avatar in the top right > settings > tick new meeting experience. If you have done this and don't see it yet, it is currently rolling out so may take a bit longer to get around to you

Hope that answers your question
