Hi there,
I am trying to work out what is the participant limit in a video call for an organizer with a O365 A3 license. We would need to have up to 1000 participants. I've taken a look at this:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#meetings-and-calls
However, I'm not sure if when they talk about "Microsoft 365 A3/A5 plans" they refer to M365 A3 licenses or O365 A3 licenses. Can anyone please help advise?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi @SteveKiss,
When Microsoft talks about "Microsoft 365 A3/A5 plans," they're talking about types of Microsoft 365 licenses, not just regular Office 365. Here's what that means:
1. Microsoft 365 A3: Think of it as a premium Microsoft 365 package. It gives you not only the usual Office apps like Word and Excel but also extras like Windows licenses, extra security features, device management tools, and cool collaboration stuff like Teams.
2. Office 365 A3: This is a bit more basic. It mainly covers the core Office programs (you know, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and some email and storage services like Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business.
So, if you're wondering about how many people can join a Teams meeting, you'd want to look at the limits for Microsoft 365 A3 plans because they come with Teams.
There is a cool website where you can see and compare all the Microsoft Licences:
Home | M365 Maps
