Hi everyone,

I often use Teams meeting (call) with 2 other participants from external organizations.

I would like these two participants to remain anonymous to one another, is there any way to do that ?

Even if I call one with the dial pad, I cannot find how to hide the phone number.

Thanks for your help

You can use federation "New Chat > type in their address > Search externally for user" and do private chat's with them. Or if you invite them to two separate Teams they will stay anonymous from each other. If you invite to the same Team however you cannot hide them.

Thanks for the answer.

Actually I wrote wrong, I do not want to invite them to a team, I just want to invite them to a Teams meeting for the phone call duration.

I see. If it's only voice, you can use meeting invite, and they can just put in an anonymous name when joining the meeting. As far as dial in, maybe using a caller ID block when calling might mask the number? *67 before dialing or something of that nature.

I tried a couple of times the meeting invite, asking the participant not to put their full name (wich was not ideal). It worked once, and the second time, the email address was visible, I have no idea why.
I tried dial in adding the *67, but it doesnt work.

@Chris Webb   Hey Chris.  Any ideas for a situation where we don't have conference bridges set up for dial-in numbers to our Teams meetings, but our teachers do want to be able to manually add students to an in-progress Teams meeting by adding them using their phone numbers while keeping those numbers private to their classmates who are also in the meeting?

@ChrisWebb@SGray I would also find that helpful to know as I'm working with under-18s. Many thanks in advance!

@Chris Webb I use to arrange Teams-Meetings via outlook where I enter attendees in the "Resource" field to make them hidden to other attendees. This works perfectly when they recieve my invitation email. However when they join the meeting on Teams, they are visible to each other. Their email addresses are visible to all the meeting attendees. For security/confidentiality reasons, I want to keep the attendee list invisible to all participants (except to me as host). All the participants are from external teams/private users. Please advice how can I make the attendee list invisible to attendees. Thank you in advance!

@Pedram_SEM I have the same request. We want to invite external parties to a Teams "conference", but hide all their identities.
