Teams live event recording

I ran a live event which I stopped over lunch and then restarted.  The recording which downloads is only the afternoon session (after it was restarted) and there is no trace of a recording for the morning session.  Is this overwritten if you stop and start an event or can I find the recording of the morning session somewhere?

@dperry2315 I'm not a "Teams live eventer". But if I'm not mistaken I believe the live events are recorded different from Teams meetings which can end up with multiple copies.

@Linus Cansby the 'Live event master' can perhaps shed some light on the inquiry?
