Teams Invitees Not Being Routed to Meeting

Copper Contributor

Hi,

I have a situation where I have set up a Teams meeting and sent it out invitees from different organisations. When the meetings commence, I open up the meeting as the host, and some of the invitees are able to enter, but some of the invitees are routed to a separate meeting, with no other attendees. They are not visible as attendees at the meeting I am hosting.

I have had this happen on different meetings. The meetings have between 4-~50 attendees. The incorrect/empty room issue has also occurred to invitees from multiple organisations.

Logging off and logging back in seems to fix the issue.

NB: All invitees were sent the same Teams link using the same Outlook Meeting invite.

Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this and how this can be fixed?

Thanks.

Matt

Hello, I've even experienced that myself some time ago. It was resolved automatically causing no issue for me, but I suggest you open up a support ticket with Microsoft so they can do some proper analyzing of the Teams/meeting logs etc.
