Teams invitation mail is blank in Outlook but visible in Gmail.

Copper Contributor

Hi, I'm using Gmail account set in Outlook for work.

When I receive a Teams meeting invitation from a certain sender(using Korean),

the outlook only indicates invitation time but does not show the Teams meeting joining text.

However, if I log in to Gmail in Chrome and find the same invitation mail I can see the Teams text.

One more thing that invitations from other people(in English or Japanese) are displayed properly.

I'm not sure whether it can be solved in my settings or it's about the person who sends the mail.

Hi @nozevans ,

It does sound like an issue with the source, but then as you have seen it does render better in the native email web client.

However I would expect Outlook as a client to be a bit more strict about what content it allows through, especially if it cannot interpret the language perhaps and therefore thinks it is better to be safe than sorry.

So the only thing I can thing to suggest, is to look to language settings. Not necessarily to set yourself to Korean but thinking more a long the lines of a language pack for said language.

Thanks
