Teams install - No 365 - No admin

How do I install Teams on my computer that runs Microsoft Office 2019 and I don't want to install the business version of this?

My computer is a work computer, it has Office 2019 on it, but every time I try and install Microsoft Teams on it using my personal email, it wants me to "ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams".  How can I just use Microsoft Teams?

Recommended route here would be to create a Microsoft Account completely unrelated to anything you have used previously and then sign up for Teams Free

1.) Create Microsoft Account (username@outlook.com) at https://account.microsoft.com/account

2.) Sign up for Teams free here https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/free

3.) Log into Teams as username@outlook.com

That should be all you need. Hope that answers your question
