Teams free, You do not have access to "Organization Name"

Copper Contributor
Hello,

we use the free version of Microsoft Teams.

About 410 members and it worked without any problems until around 08/16/2020

Problem:

When I invite a new member, via email or link, and they want to connect to the organization, they get the following error message:

You do not have access to "Organization Name"
Does anyone know a solution or a solution to this problem? Thank you in advance.

@JBN_1202 Hello, can you have the guest users try to accept/connect to your org. using a InPrivate/Incognito windows as it could be a cache related issue with mixed credentials.

In case that doesn't work maybe you need to delete them from the Teams free org. https://portal.azure.com  (Azure AD and Azure AD bin) and then re-invite them.

@ChristianBergstrom

Many thanks for your response.

Unfortunately that didn't work.
Logging with incognito mode brought the same error message.

Deleting and reloading was also unsuccessful.

Do you have any other ideas?

@JBN_1202 Hi, I didn't understand if you tried this as well?

In case that doesn't work maybe you need to delete them (the user accounts) from the Teams free org. https://portal.azure.com  (Azure AD and Azure AD bin) and then re-invite them (from the Team).

Hello bec064,
Thank you for your answer.

You are right, I misunderstood that.
Sorry.
I only deleted the user in the Teams app.

Now I try that with Azure.

I will contact you when I have a result.

@ChristianBergstrom

I have now tried different scenarios.
The invitation as a guest works.

The invitation as a member still does not work.
Same error message.

I make all the connection attempts in an Incognito browser window.

@JBN_1202 Hi, I'm finding a bit difficult to fully understand what is happening with the attached info.

By any chance you've enabled the Security Defaults? (AAD - Properties - Manage Security Defaults).

@ChristianBergstrom  Secure Default are not activated.

Is that right?

@JBN_1202 Hi, as per this conversation the solution was to disable and re-enable the Teams license but see if the 'deep link workaround' could be used as well.

I asked about the Security Defaults only to narrow things down. It's all up to you but it's the recommended approach https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/concept-fundamentals-security-d...
