Teams Dialing Timeout before Calling

Copper Contributor

Just migrated our phone system from Cisco over to Teams and replaced our Cisco phones with Poly CCX500 handsets.

The issue we're having is that when you're dialling a phone number into the CCX500, it'll timeout after 3 seconds and will ring an incomplete number, meaning that if you dial in an area code, then check your computer to see what the next few digits are, the handset has started dialing a spurious number that could just be a 0800 and the call will fail.

I've spoken to Poly support who said it is Teams running on the phones that is causing the issue as there is settings on the handset to change that timeout time but Teams will overwrite it.

Hi@simonpeart ,  If you are experiencing teams dialing timeout before calling, please explore the link below to change settings or increase the dialing threshold;

@Deleted I've already gone through the Policies in Teams Admin Centre and gone through the Powershell as well and can't find any setting that relates to this.

It only happens on the handset whilst the handset is on the hook, off the hook is fine and when using the Teams client on Windows is fine.
