Teams continues to ring when I call someone from my laptop

When I make an outgoing video/call on teams, the program continues to ring, even after the other person has answered the line.  

I have found a workaround, by using the app on my phone to start the call, wait for them to answer, and then go to my laptop and transfer the call, but that is getting old really fast.  Does anyone know how I can make this top happening?

Hi, first question would be, do you have your OS and Teams App fully up to date with the latest updates? Often this will correct a glitch of this sort.
